One Studio
EF Webdesign is run by Elena and Fabio. We
design, build and visually shape websites for
individuals, small businesses and small to
medium-sized companies.
No templates. No layers. Just direct
collaboration, thoughtful design and
everything you need to bring your business
to life online.
The Work supplies
the colour
There is no brand colour on this website.
That is deliberate. Fifteen different
businesses sit on these pages, each with its
own palette, and any accent of ours would
fight all fifteen of them.
So the studio takes the paper and the ink,
and the work supplies the colour. Scroll the
index and the only saturated things on the
screen are client sites. That is the correct
hierarchy for a studio: quiet frame, loud work.
Small Studio.
No distance.
You speak directly with Fabio and Elena, the people who
actually design and build your website.
No account managers. No endless email chains. Your ideas,
questions and wishes are discussed and implemented directly
with the people who bring them to life.
We work closely with individuals, independent businesses and
small to medium-sized companies. Businesses where the
person behind the work matters, where budgets need to be
used thoughtfully, and where a website should reflect what
makes them different.
We are not built for large international projects that require the
infrastructure of a large agency. We are built for a different kind
of relationship: direct, collaborative and personal from beginning
to end.

The first screen
decides it.
Most visitors have made a judgement before they read a word. That is not a reason to write less, it is a reason to design the first screen like it is the only one.

Show always
the price.
Every category has a convention of hiding cost behind an enquiry. Breaking it is the cheapest competitive advantage a small business can buy.

One idea
per section.
Texture on texture, box inside box, and four decorative devices in one band is how a site starts to hurt to look at. Each section gets one strong idea and space around it.

Real photographs of
real places.
A stock image of a kitchen tells a customer nothing about your kitchen. If we cannot shoot it, we do not fake it, we design around it.

Built for
every screen.
A website has to work, look good and feel right on every device. We design and develop for desktop and mobile at the same time — in parallel and in sync.
